Led by ASE GmbH, MultiRELOAD's Demonstrator #B1 is advancing the future of logistics by enabling precise and complete positioning of loading units using GNSS coordinates. Designed to improve operational accuracy, optimize terminal workflows, and offer a scalable, transferable solution, the project is making steady progress through important technical and organizational milestones.
Recent achievements include the setup and optimization of the Multireload system server and the design of a larger, unified control cabinet on-site, streamlining integration efforts. Close collaboration with partners Fraunhofer and duisport has defined key mounting points and technical requirements for the LiDAR system on the crane, with hardware components ordered and installation logistics finalized.
Simultaneously, software development continues at pace, supported by a professional video shoot to document and showcase the system’s capabilities.
The B1 demonstrator empowers terminal operators with precise, reliable location data—paving the way for smarter, faster, and more cost-effective management of loading units in today’s digital, interconnected logistics ecosystem.
